Aikman Physiotherapy is a reputable private practice led by Andrew Aikman, dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy in a professional and compassionate manner. ANDREW AIKMAN
Andrew Aikman’s educational background includes a B.Sc in Human Movement Sciences from Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education (1999), followed by a B.Sc (Hons) in Biokinetics in 2002. He went on to complete his M.Sc in Biokinetics in 2007 at North West University. In 2004, he enrolled at the University of Pretoria to pursue his BPhysT degree and completed his Community Service at Edenvale General Hospital in 2008. He then joined Kuhn Physiotherapist Assoc. in Kempton Park as a Junior Physiotherapist before becoming a partner in Aikman Kuhn Physiotherapists in 2010.
In 2021, Andrew founded Aikman Physiotherapy. His consulting rooms is currently in Moreleta Park, Pretoria, within the Parkview Lifestyle Centre at Woodhill Intercare.
Outside of his professional life, Andrew is an avid gardener and recreational runner. He enjoys spending quality time at home with his wife and two children.
Chané is a passionate physiotherapist who joined the Aikman Physiotherapy team in 2025. She completed her BPhysT degree at the University of Pretoria in 2020, and did her community service year at Kalafong Academic Hospital in 2021.
After that she joined PTX Physiotherapy, a private practice working closely with orthopedic surgeon Dr. Charl Olivier at Zuid-Afrikaans Hospital. Together, they helped guide patients through their post-surgical rehabilitation and recovery journeys.
In 2025, Chané decided to spread her wings and transitioned into the field of outpatient physiotherapy by joining Aikman Physiotherapy. She believes that movement is medicine and is passionate about helping people improve their quality of life. Chané enjoys working with people and building meaningful connections with her patients.
Outside of work, she loves playing action netball, indoor rock climbing, and spending time with her husband, friends, and family.
